Important Notes:

• Always allow for altitude power loss when selecting a generator. (The selections shown here have included this loss of 1800m above sea level)
• Certain Power Tools such as Industrial grinders can exceed the required power input.
• Always use correct size cables i.e. 2,5mm for up to 2000W, and 3,5mm for tools up to 4400W
• Larger cables are required for tools exceeding 20m in length, as a voltage drop is likely to occur and result in tool burn out!
• The above selections are based on one tool per generator. The generator selection will increase as the number of tools are added to the generator source.
• Most power tools are equipped with electronic components, and are sensitive to electrical surges. Honda AVR generators ensure smooth electrical output at 220V. All Honda EP-Generators are set at 50Hz.
